Franz Viehböck

Franz Artur Viehböck (* 24. August 1960 in Wien) ist ein österreichischer Elektroingenieur und Kosmonaut, der als erster Österreicher ins All flog. Er besuchte 1991 die Raumstation Mir an Bord von Sojus TM-13 und kehrte an Bord von Sojus TM-12 zurück, nachdem er etwas mehr als eine Woche im All verbracht hatte.

Franz Artur Viehböck (born 24 August 1960 in Vienna) is an Austrian electrical engineer and cosmonaut, who became the first Austrian to fly in space. He visited the Mir space station in 1991 aboard Soyuz TM-13, returning aboard Soyuz TM-12 after spending just over a week in space.
