Mengtian-Laborkabinenmodul (Chinesisch: 梦天实验舱)

Dies ist ein Hauptmodul der Raumstation Tiangong. Es ist nach Wentian das zweite gestartete Laborkabinenmodul und das zweite Modul zur Erweiterung des bestehenden Tianhe-Kernmoduls der Station. Es wurde am 31. Oktober 2022 vom Startplatz des Raumfahrzeugs Wenchang in die Umlaufbahn gebracht und dockte am selben Tag um 20:27 UTC erfolgreich am Vorwärtshafen von Tianhe an.

Am 3. November 2022 wurde Mengtian um 01:32 UTC durch einen indexierenden Roboterarm zum Backbordhafen verlegt. Am selben Tag um 07:12 UTC öffnete die Besatzung von Shenzhou 14 die Luke und betrat das Modul zum ersten Mal.

Mengtian laboratory cabin module (Chinese: 梦天实验舱)

This is a major module of the Tiangong space station. It is the second Laboratory Cabin Module launched, after Wentian, and the second module to extend the existing Tianhe core module of the station. It was launched into orbit from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site on 31 October 2022, successfully docking with Tianhe forward port at 20:27 UTC on the same day.

On 3 November 2022, Mengtian was relocated to the larboard port at 01:32 UTC by indexing robot arm. On the same day at 07:12 UTC, the crew of Shenzhou 14 opened the hatch and entered the module for the first time.
